A generic cache mechanism that provides config switching between memory, ASP.NET web and AppFabric cache mechanisms. It provides interface based usage of an abstract cache provider with an enhanced API to allow easy access to the cache and all its functions without having hard references to any particular cache implementation. This facilitates better testability, and automatic support for distributed caching via AppFabric.
