MediaToolkit.Srt.Native.win-x64

libsrt 1.5.x shared native library for Windows x64, packaged for consumption by MediaToolkit.Srt.

What's inside

  • srt.dll (~4.6 MB) — libsrt with OpenSSL linked statically inside.

Build configuration (vcpkg)

libsrt 1.5.4 built through vcpkg with custom overlay-triplet x64-windows-srt-bundled:

  • VCPKG_LIBRARY_LINKAGE=dynamic for libsrt itself.
  • VCPKG_LIBRARY_LINKAGE=static for openssl and zlib — OpenSSL is linked into srt.dll, so no libcrypto-*/libssl-* files are distributed.
  • Dynamic CRT (/MD) — required for compatibility with the .NET runtime.

Only srt.dll is shipped. Runtime dependencies are limited to system Windows DLLs (CRYPT32, WS2_32, KERNEL32, USER32, ADVAPI32) plus the Visual C++ runtime.

The DLL is copied into <output>/libSrt/ subfolder of the consuming project. MediaToolkit.Srt registers a NativeLibrary.SetDllImportResolver so that [DllImport("srt")] calls resolve to <AppContext.BaseDirectory>/libSrt/srt.dll.

PrivateAssets="none" — important if this is a transitive dependency through a class library (e.g. MediaToolkit.Srt). Without it the consuming exe-project won't get the build/.targets and the DLL won't be copied.

x64 Windows only. The targets file is no-op on other platforms.
