Agglestone.AspNetCore.Authentication

ASP.NET Core library for Auth by Agglestone Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) authentication. Drop it into your API and every request is intercepted and authenticated with Agglestone.

Install

dotnet add package Agglestone.AspNetCore.Authentication

Usage

Add the package, register Auth by Agglestone, then write your API as usual - program.cs:

// Add Auth by Agglestone
using Agglestone.AspNetCore.Authentication;

var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder(args);

// Register Auth by Agglestone - authenticates every request
builder.Services.AddAgglestoneAuthentication();

var app = builder.Build();

app.MapPost("/api/orders", (OrderRequest request) =>
{
    return Results.Ok(/* your business logic */);
});

app.Run();

Configure Easy Connect in your app settings so the library can talk to Auth by Agglestone. On the frontend, send users to /api/login and /api/logout - tokens stay in secure cookies or on the server.
