Brutal ZLib

Native build for the zlib library, for use with the BRUTAL framework.

Note: This package does not provide C# interop. It builds the native zlib project and outputs the zlib DLLs for other packages to consume.

Package Layout

The Ahwoo.BRUTAL.ZLib NuGet package contains the native zlib binaries plus the headers and import library that dependent packages build against:

The runtimes/ binaries are what get deployed next to a consuming app. The build/natives/ headers and import library are dev artifacts so other native packages (e.g. libpng/FreeType) can compile and link against zlib.

Third-party licensing

This package redistributes zlib under the zlib licence, built unmodified from upstream. The full licence text ships inside the package at LICENSES/BRUTAL-ZLIB-THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. The package also ships zlib.h and zconf.h in source form, each carrying zlib's own copyright notice. The CMake wrapper declares brutal_install_native(TARGETS zlib). NativeBuild stages and packs the runtime and import libraries. Portable application output keeps native libraries under runtimes/<rid>/native; an explicit RuntimeIdentifier uses the SDK's flat output layout.
