Installation & Configuration

Compatibility: Ai12z.Umbraco.Widgets 0.x targets Umbraco 13 LTS (net8.0). On Umbraco 14/15, wait for the .V15 SKU.

1. Add the NuGet

dotnet add package Ai12z.Umbraco.Widgets

AddComposers() (already called by your Program.cs) auto-discovers the package — no service-registration line needed.

2. Map the sync endpoint inside WithEndpoints

The one required wiring step is the endpoint mapping for the bulk-sync controller (POST /ai12z/sync):

Placement matters. UseAi12z() must be registered before UseWebsiteEndpoints(). Otherwise Umbraco's dynamic content-route handler intercepts /ai12z/sync and returns the HTML 404 page (initial sync then silently falls back to the Delivery API).

3. Configure keys

Enter your ai12z keys and toggle content sync from the in-backoffice admin page (Settings → ai12z), or apply the ai12zUmbraco.json you download from the ai12z portal, which pre-fills the sensitive values for you.
