AmoosedWeb.Reader

A .NET 10 library for listing and downloading verified files from an AmoosedWeb-enabled website. It calls the matching native amw executable for carrier decoding and integrity checks. Installing this package also installs AmoosedWeb.Native, which copies the native executable into a Windows x64 app's build and publish output. No separate Node.js installation is needed.

Install

In your .NET project, run:

dotnet package add AmoosedWeb.Reader

The bundled native executable currently supports Windows x64. For another platform, obtain a matching executable from amoosed.com when available and pass its path explicitly.

Read files

On Windows x64, pass the website address; the reader finds the packaged executable automatically:

using AmoosedWeb.Reader;

var reader = new AmoosedReader(new Uri("https://example.com/"));

foreach (var item in await reader.ListAsync())
    Console.WriteLine($"{item.Path}: {item.Bytes} bytes ({item.Access})");

await reader.DownloadAsync("/amoosed.com/app/files/game.zip", "game.zip");
// Or: await reader.DownloadAllAsync("recovered");

For a website with a separately delivered index key, pass indexKeyFile with the path to its .amwkey file. For members-only content, pass memberKeyFile with a local .amwmember or hexadecimal key file. Keep keys out of command-line arguments. Downloads are verified and existing destination files are not overwritten.

If you keep a separate native installation, use the other constructor:

var reader = new AmoosedReader(
    executablePath: @"C:\tools\amoosed\amw.exe",
    site: new Uri("https://example.com/"));

The native executable runs a local child process for each operation. This library is intended for tools and batch downloads, not a per-request server hot path. See the compiler and reader guide for the file formats and current limits. The package license is in LICENSE.txt.
