📘 Aquila SmartLogger MAUI Android — User Guide
🔹 Overview
Aquila SmartLogger is a lightweight cloud logging SDK for .NET MAUI apps that allows you to:
✅ Capture logs in real time ✅ Automatically log crashes & exceptions ✅ Upload logs securely to the cloud ✅ Monitor logs from a web dashboard ✅ Prevent app crashes using Safe execution
🚀 Step 1 — Install the Library
Add the NuGet package (or project reference):
Aquila.SmartLogger.Maui.Android
🔐 Step 2 — Generate Your App Secret
Before using the logger, you must create an App Secret Key.
👉 Open the SmartLogger Portal:
https://aquilainnovations.in/smartlogger/login.php
Steps:
1️⃣ Login to your account 2️⃣ Create a new application 3️⃣ Copy the generated App Secret Key 4️⃣ Use that key inside your MAUI app
⚙️ Step 3 — Initialize Logger
Initialize the logger once when your app starts.
Example:
AquilaLogger.Init("YOUR_APP_SECRET_KEY");
Recommended Places:
• App.xaml.cs → OnStart • MainPage constructor • App startup service
📝 Step 4 — Writing Logs
✅ Info Log
AquilaLogger.Info("App started");
🎉 Success Log
AquilaLogger.Success("Data saved successfully");
⚠️ Warning Log
AquilaLogger.Warn("Low memory warning");
❌ Error Log
AquilaLogger.Error("Database connection failed");
💥 Fatal Log
AquilaLogger.Fatal("Critical system crash");
🛡️ Step 5 — Safe Execution Logging (RECOMMENDED)
Instead of using try-catch, use Safe() to automatically log exceptions.
🔹 Basic Usage
AquilaLogger.Safe(() =>
{
int x = 10;
int y = 0;
int z = x / y; // Exception automatically logged
});
✔ Prevents crashes ✔ Logs full exception details
🔹 With Custom Error Message
AquilaLogger.Safe(() =>
{
LoadData();
}, "Failed to load data");
🔹 Safe with Return Value
int result = AquilaLogger.Safe(() =>
{
return 100 / 0;
}, "Calculation failed");
If an error occurs:
• Exception is logged • Default value is returned
⭐ Replace Try-Catch with Safe()
❌ Old Method
try
{
SaveData();
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
AquilaLogger.Error(ex);
}
✅ New Method
AquilaLogger.Safe(() => SaveData());
Cleaner, safer, automatic logging.
📡 Step 6 — Flush & Upload Logs Immediately
To upload logs instantly:
AquilaLogger.FlushLive();
Use this when:
• App closes • User logs out • After critical errors
🌐 Step 7 — View Logs Online
After logs are sent, view them here:

Dashboard Features
✅ Real-time log viewing ✅ Filter by log level ✅ Device info tracking ✅ Download logs ✅ Monitor multiple apps
⚙️ How Logging Works Internally
Your App

Cloud Storage
↓
Web Dashboard
Logged Information Includes
• App Name • Timestamp • Log Level • Message • Exception details • Device Name • OS Version • File & Line Number
⚡ Best Practices
✅ Initialize logger only once ✅ Use Safe() for risky operations ✅ Log meaningful messages ✅ Upload logs periodically ✅ Use FlushLive() before app exit
❌ Do NOT
🚫 Reinitialize logger multiple times 🚫 Log passwords or sensitive data 🚫 Block UI thread with heavy logging
