BVP.EditorConfig
Distributes the shared BVP .editorconfig to consuming .NET projects and keeps it in sync on every build.
Usage
Reference the package centrally from a root Directory.Build.props so every project in the repo picks it up automatically:
<Project>
<ItemGroup>
<PackageReference Include="BVP.EditorConfig" Version="1.0.0">
<PrivateAssets>all</PrivateAssets>
<IncludeAssets>runtime; build; native; contentfiles; analyzers; buildtransitive</IncludeAssets>
</PackageReference>
</ItemGroup>
</Project>
Then add the generated file to your .gitignore:
.editorconfig
See the repository README for the full design rationale and rollout guidance.
Opting out
Set <BvpDisableEditorConfigSync>true</BvpDisableEditorConfigSync> in a project or Directory.Build.props to disable the sync for that scope.
