BasicAuthenticationHandler

This provides a basic authentication handler for Asp.Net Core 2.0 MVC applications. It is not meant to be a production ready authentication Library where sensitive data is at risk. Please research Basic Authentication to understand it's limitations. I needed this for a small PoC project and found documentation sparse at best. This is very lightly tested, so let me know if you run into issues. Feel free to contribute if you see ways to make this better.

Quick Start

  1. Install BasicAuthenticationHandler package from Nuget.
  2. Update ConfigureServices:
