Quick start
<Window xmlns:bp="clr-namespace:BluePrint.Designer.Controls;assembly=BluePrint.Designer">
<bp:BluePrintDesignerControl x:Name="Designer" />
</Window>
Designer.Report = BluePrintDocument.Load("Invoice.bpt").Definition;
Contents
| Assembly | Role |
|---|---|
BluePrint.Designer |
the design surface, property panel and built-in dialogs |
BluePrint.Shell |
command, menu and toolbar host used to build a full editor |
BluePrint.DataSources, which the designer uses to list connections and retrieve
rows, comes with BlueCrafts.BluePrint.Render further down the chain.
Dialogs
Dialogs that only touch the report content are built in and need no wiring. Dialogs that touch a live connection, a credential or an application preference are supplied by the host through a factory, so the host stays in control of anything that reaches outside the report.
Data access
BluePrint.DataSources ships no ADO.NET driver. The host registers the providers
it needs, which keeps the package free of any database dependency and free of the
license terms that come with those drivers.
