ExpandableCalculator

A small C# calculator library that evaluates arithmetic expressions with support for fractions, decimals, percentages, and basic percent-based phrases.

Features

Supports +, -, *, /

Fraction input and output (1/2, 3/4)

Percentage handling (25%, percent conversions)

Simple natural language percent expressions

Parentheses and operator precedence

Results rounded to 2 decimal places

Usage using ExpandableCalculator;

var result = Calculator.Evaluate("1/2 + 1/4");

Console.WriteLine(result.value); // 0.75 Console.WriteLine(result.fraction); // 3/4 Console.WriteLine(result.isPercent); // false

API Calculator.Evaluate(string expression)

Returns (double value, string fraction, bool isPercent)

value: numeric result

fraction: fractional representation when applicable

isPercent: true if the result is a percentage
