Circles.Profiles.Aggregation

A high-level library for scanning and verifying links across multiple Circles Profiles namespaces.

Overview

The Aggregator library implements the Aggregator Pattern. It allows you to efficiently:

  • Resolve profiles for a set of avatars.
  • Walk through their namespaces looking for links from a specific operator.
  • Verify the cryptographic signatures and chain domains of found links.
  • Apply time window filters.
  • Produce a deterministic, sorted, and de-duplicated list of results.

Key Features

  • Provenance Tracking: Every result includes information about which avatar, chunk, and index it came from.
  • Atomic Verification: Ensures all links are valid according to the protocol before inclusion.
  • De-duplication: Handles mirrored links by de-duplicating byte-identical content.
  • Error Handling: Collects detailed error information for failed profile or chunk fetches without aborting the entire scan.

Usage

Use the BasicAggregator to perform a scan:
