Circles.Profiles.Models

Core data structures and models for the Circles Profiles Protocol (CPP).

Overview

This assembly contains the POCO classes representing the JSON-LD objects defined in the protocol:

  • Profile: The root profile document.
  • NameIndexDoc: The index mapping logical names to namespace chunks.
  • NamespaceChunk: A chunk containing up to 100 signed links.
  • CustomDataLink: The signed envelope for any IPFS payload.

Key Features

  • JSON-LD Compatibility: Models include @context and @type fields as required by the spec.
  • Canonicalization: Implements logic for RFC 8785 (JCS) to support deterministic signing and verification.
  • Protocol Limits: Defines constants such as the 8 MiB object size cap.
  • Custom Converters: Specialized JSON converters for Ethereum addresses, CIDs, and date/time formats used in the protocol.

Usage

These models are intended to be used with System.Text.Json using the settings provided in JsonSerializerOptions.
