# DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore License Agreement

This software is licensed, not sold.

DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore is made available free of charge for use in personal, commercial, educational, government, and enterprise applications.

No commercial DataArc license, subscription, activation, or runtime entitlement is required to use DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore in accordance with this Agreement.

By installing, copying, or using DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore, you agree to the terms of this License Agreement.

## 1. DEFINITIONS

"Software" means DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore and any components, assemblies, documentation, or related materials distributed by Solid Arc Software as part of the DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore package.

"Application" means an application, service, system, library, or other software product that uses the Software as a dependency.

"Commercial DataArc Functionality" means DataArc software, functionality, or capabilities that Solid Arc Software expressly designates as requiring a commercial license, subscription, entitlement, or other commercial authorization.

## 2. LICENSE GRANT

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Solid Arc Software grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to install, use, execute, and distribute the Software in personal, commercial, educational, government, and enterprise applications.

Permitted use of the Software does not require:

* purchasing a DataArc commercial license;
* registering or supplying a DataArc license key;
* activating the Software with a DataArc licensing service;
* paying per-developer license fees;
* paying runtime or deployment license fees; or
* participating in a time-limited trial.

There is no time limitation on permitted use of the Software under this Agreement.

## 3. COMMERCIAL DATAARC FUNCTIONALITY

DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore may be used independently or alongside other DataArc packages, including packages or capabilities that provide Commercial DataArc Functionality.

Commercial DataArc Functionality is governed by the license, subscription, entitlement, order terms, or other agreement applicable to that functionality.

Installing, referencing, or using DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore does not grant rights to Commercial DataArc Functionality.

Conversely, use of DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore in accordance with this Agreement does not require the purchase, activation, or continued availability of any commercially licensed DataArc product or capability.

The presence of dependencies, integration points, extension methods, contracts, or other interoperability with Commercial DataArc Functionality does not alter the license granted for DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore under this Agreement.

## 4. DISTRIBUTION

You may distribute the Software in compiled form as a dependency of an Application that you develop, operate, host, deploy, or distribute, provided that your use and distribution of the Software comply with this Agreement.

You may not:

* sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially distribute the Software as a standalone product;
* repackage the Software as a competing library, framework, component, toolkit, or software product;
* represent the Software or any portion of it as your own product or intellectual property; or
* redistribute modified versions of the Software under the DataArc or Solid Arc Software name without prior written permission.

## 5. RESTRICTIONS

Except where expressly permitted by this Agreement or required by applicable law, you may not:

* reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
* remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, licensing, attribution, or proprietary notices contained in the Software;
* use the Solid Arc Software or DataArc names, trademarks, logos, or branding in a manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, ownership, or affiliation without permission; or
* use the Software in violation of applicable law.

Nothing in this Agreement limits rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable law.

## 6. OWNERSHIP

DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore and all associated software, components, documentation, designs, code, and intellectual property remain the property of Solid Arc Software and its applicable licensors.

The DataArc and Solid Arc Software names, trademarks, logos, and branding remain the property of Solid Arc Software.

This Agreement grants rights to use the Software only.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by Solid Arc Software.

## 7. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

The Software may depend on or include third-party software components.

Third-party components remain subject to their respective license terms.

Nothing in this Agreement modifies or replaces rights or obligations imposed by applicable third-party licenses.

## 8. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOLID ARC SOFTWARE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SOLID ARC SOFTWARE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY APPLICATION OR ENVIRONMENT.

## 9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOLID ARC SOFTWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF INFORMATION, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY.

## 10. TERMINATION

Your rights under this Agreement terminate if you materially breach its terms.

Upon termination, you must cease any use or distribution of the Software that is no longer authorized under this Agreement.

## 11. FUTURE RELEASES

Solid Arc Software may change, extend, replace, discontinue, or change the licensing model of functionality in future releases of DataArc.EntityFrameworkCore.

The license terms applicable to a particular released version of the Software are those accompanying that version.

Changes to the functionality, packaging, pricing, or licensing of future releases do not alter the rights granted under this Agreement for a version already obtained and used in accordance with the license terms accompanying that version.
