Install as a Cake Tool

XrmToolBox tool that scaffolds a SQL data-migration harness from Dataverse metadata: staging table and GUID mapping table DDL scripts batched strictly by dependency tier, plus truncate/teardown scripts, match-key indexes, a styled Excel data dictionary, a Mermaid dependency diagram, a machine-readable manifest.json, and a harness metadata seed (meta.Entity / meta.ColumnMap) that drives SSIS package generation - including a deferred second pass for every dependency cycle it breaks. Filters tables and columns by solution, remembers selections per environment, and is fully configurable (prefixes, match-key suffixes, dependency-ranking exclusions).

Product Compatible and additional computed target framework versions.
.NET Framework net48 is compatible.  net481 was computed.

1.2026.7.8: Harness metadata output and a guided four-step layout.
- New meta_seed.sql output (off by default): MERGE statements populating meta.Entity and meta.ColumnMap, the metadata an SSIS package generator reads to build a migration harness. Structural facts (tier, table names, SSIS data types, lookup targets) refresh on every run; hand-tuned values (WriteMode, BatchSize, ThreadCount, IsEnabled, IncludeOnCreate, IncludeOnUpdate) are written once and never overwritten. Attributes dropped from Dataverse are removed; entities outside the run are untouched, so scoping to one solution never deletes another's metadata
- Cycle members automatically get a second PassNo = 2 entity row carrying only the lookups deferred to break the cycle - the deferred update pass the warnings have always described in prose
- Tables with no match-key column are seeded with IsEnabled = 0 and reported in the warnings panel, rather than silently producing an entity that cannot decide create versus update
- Reworked layout into four numbered steps: Load Tables and Set Output Folder are now prominent buttons in labeled step groups, filters and outputs sit together in step 3, and Generate Scripts ends the flow
- Quick-start guide rewritten around the four steps

1.2026.7.7: Machine-readable run manifest.
- New manifest.json output (on by default): tables with dependency tier and file assignment, columns with SQL and Dataverse types, lookup targets (and which are in scope), match keys, dropped cycle edges and per-column deferred-update flags - for driving ETL package sequencing and deferred lookup passes

1.2026.7.6: Solution picker improvements.
- Lists managed AND unmanaged solutions, with managed ones labeled "(managed)" - replaces the 1.2026.7.5 toggle
- Solution dropdown widens to fit long solution names

1.2026.7.5: "Include managed" toggle next to the Solution picker (managed solutions labeled; patches always excluded).

1.2026.7.4: Fix update loop - 1.2026.7.3 was packaged with a mismatched assembly version. Do not install 1.2026.7.3.

1.2026.7.3: Feedback round.
- Solution picker now lists only unmanaged solutions and excludes patches
- Generated SQL no longer emits GO separators or ON [PRIMARY]
- Selected output folder is displayed in the toolbar (full path on hover)
- Genericized example text in the dependency exclusions dialog
- Tooltips on every control, quick-start guide in the preview pane, clearer warnings panel

1.2026.7.2: Fix tool list icons (re-encoded PNG metadata images).

1.2026.7.1: Initial release.
- Staging and GUID mapping table DDL from Dataverse metadata (drop-and-recreate or create-if-missing)
- Strict one-dependency-tier-per-file batching for SSIS package sequencing; cycles broken by edge-dropping with deferred-update warnings
- Solution-based table and column filtering; per-environment remembered selections
- Configurable table prefixes and match-key suffixes; dependency-ranking exclusions
- Extra outputs: truncate script, teardown script, styled Excel data dictionary, Mermaid dependency diagram
- Guarded match-key indexes; session metadata cache; cancelable generation
