EF Core SQL Server utilities: cross-context foreign keys applied out of band via idempotent, reversible DDL.

Part of the Dogma Solutions "Foundation" project.

Features

  • Cross-context foreign keys — wire up a foreign key between tables owned by different DbContext instances (e.g. tables installed by different plugins/modules), which native EF migrations cannot express
  • Idempotent, reversible DDL — EnsureFk / RemoveFk are guarded so re-running is a no-op
  • Three call styles — fully string-based (maximum decoupling), dependent-typed with a string principal (recommended), or fully typed across two contexts
  • Fail-fast validation — verifies both columns exist and have matching store types before creating the constraint
  • Deterministic naming — stable, collision-resistant, identifier-length-safe constraint and index names
