Duende.Labs.IdentityModel.OidcClient

A certified OpenID Connect native client library, maintained in this labs repository as Duende.Labs.IdentityModel.OidcClient.

This is an import of the open-source Duende.IdentityModel.OidcClient library. The package IDs have been renamed for the labs context; all namespaces remain unchanged (Duende.IdentityModel.OidcClient).

Duende.Labs.IdentityModel.OidcClient is a certified OpenID Connect relying party that implements RFC 8252 — OAuth 2.0 for Native Applications.

Clients

The clients/ directory contains cross-platform console clients:

  • ConsoleClientWithBrowser — Authorization code flow using the system browser
  • ConsoleClientWithBrowserAndDPoP — Same as above with DPoP sender-constraining
  • ManualModeConsoleClient — Manual authorization code flow

Samples

The samples/ directory contains standalone solutions for platform-specific integrations (WPF, WinForms, MAUI, HttpSys, Console). These samples reference Duende.Labs.IdentityModel.OidcClient with a floating version (*) and will resolve correctly after the first labs publish run.

Windows-only samples (WPF, WinForms, MAUI, HttpSys, WindowsConsoleSystemBrowser) use net10.0-windows target frameworks and are excluded from the labs CI solution. They are only buildable on Windows.

Origin

This is an import of the identity-model-oidc-client package from the DuendeSoftware/foss repository. For production use in projects targeting .NET Standard 2.0+, use the stable Duende.IdentityModel.OidcClient package.
