About this package
This package is part of the 5.0.0 release of Emgu CV.
This is the mini release that only contains the minimum amount of Open CV modules. For full release that contains all Open CV modules, use a release that is not labeled 'mini'.

Publishing with dotnet publish -r <rid>
The native binary in this package is built against Ubuntu-specific library
versions (ffmpeg, GTK, ICU, and others), so it is intentionally not
published under a portable RID such as linux-x64 -- doing so would let it
install on other distros where it would fail at runtime instead of at
install/build time.
For a normal build or dotnet run (no explicit -r), no extra configuration
is needed: this package's own build\*.props sets <UseRidGraph>true</UseRidGraph>
automatically, and the native library is copied to your output folder as part
of the build.
If you publish with an explicit runtime identifier, e.g.
dotnet publish -r ubuntu-x64
you additionally need to add the following to your own .csproj (or a
Directory.Build.props), using whichever of this package's RIDs
(ubuntu-x64) matches your target architecture:
<PropertyGroup>
<RuntimeIdentifier>ubuntu-x64</RuntimeIdentifier>
<UseRidGraph>true</UseRidGraph>
</PropertyGroup>
This is required because NuGet's runtime-asset selection for a publish-time RID happens during restore, before any package's own build props are imported -- so a package cannot set this property for you in that scenario.
Note: the RuntimeIdentifier used above (ubuntu-x64) is
the plain RID to target -- not the versioned package name (e.g.
ubuntu-24.04-x64). The version in the package name only tells you which
native binary to install (matching your target Ubuntu release); the
RuntimeIdentifier your project targets stays the plain form, e.g.
ubuntu-x64, regardless of which versioned package you
reference.
Publishing to a generic RID (dotnet publish -r linux-x64) is not supported
by this package: publish-time asset selection can only narrow from a generic
RID to a more specific one, not the other way around, and this package
deliberately does not ship its native binary under a generic RID.
