Eternet.Analyzers.FeatureFolder

Roslyn analyzer and code fix package for feature-folder conventions.

Current diagnostics:

  • EANF001: Namespace does not match expected namespace inferred from Features/<Feature>/... path.
  • EANF002: Top-level type role suffix (Handler, Command, Query, Step, Pipeline) does not match feature role namespace segment. Nested feature members such as CreateCity.Handler are intentionally ignored.
  • EANF003: Handler feature segment differs from the feature segment of its matching request type.

Code fix behavior:

  • FeatureFolderPlacementCodeFixProvider rewrites the declared namespace to the expected namespace carried by the diagnostic.
  • The fix is still experimental for repository-wide automation because namespace changes can require solution-closed reference updates.
  • Within the fixed document, the provider also guards common namespace/type collisions. If a newly introduced namespace segment shadows an imported type that was previously resolved semantically, the fix adds a local alias and rewrites the ambiguous type references. Example: after moving a file into Features.ErrorTracking, references to a model type named ErrorTracking become ErrorTrackingModel through using ErrorTrackingModel = global::...Common.Models.ErrorTracking;.
  • Alias suffixes are semantic when possible: Entity, Dto, Contract, otherwise Model.
