AlgFormer.Gpu

Optional ILGPU / CUDA acceleration for the EvaluatedApplications.AlgFormer HoloFormer engine.

  • GpuHoloTrainer — batched GPU forward + backward training. Syncs the weights up from the CPU HoloFormer, runs the step on the device, and merges the optimizer update back into the CPU model. Also exposes Logits(int[]) for GPU inference.
  • GpuDevice — process-wide CUDA / CPU auto-detect (HasGpu, Describe, MemoryMb).

Add this package only when you want GPU training. The core AlgFormer package stays dependency-free and AOT/trim-safe without it, and callers fall back to CPU HoloFormer.TrainStep when GpuDevice.HasGpu is false — so the same build runs on GPU and GPU-less machines.

Requires an ILGPU-supported CUDA device at runtime for the GPU path; CPU fallback otherwise.
