FastFlow.CQRS 🚀

FastFlow.CQRS is a high-performance, lightweight CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) engine for .NET 8 and .NET 10.

It is designed as a zero-dependency, low-allocation alternative to MediatR. By leveraging Compiled Expressions, FastFlow eliminates the overhead of runtime reflection and the Dynamic Language Runtime (DLR), providing near-native execution speeds for your command and query dispatching.

✨ Why FastFlow?

In high-throughput microservices or data-intensive applications (like Data Warehouses), every CPU cycle and memory allocation matters. While MediatR is powerful, its internal pipeline and reliance on reflection add overhead that isn't always necessary.

  • Blazing Fast: Handlers are compiled into delegates once and cached. Subsequent calls are virtually as fast as direct method invocations.
  • Zero "Magic": No hidden middleware or complex behavior chains. What you see is what you execute.
  • Memory Efficient: Optimized to minimize allocations during the dispatching process.
  • Native DI: Built directly on top of Microsoft.Extensions.DependencyInjection.
