FirmwareKit.Comm.EDL.Sahara

Sahara protocol implementation for the FirmwareKit EDL stack: packet definitions, ELF image loading and the protocol state machine used to bring a device from EDL into firehose mode.

Features

  • Packets — spec-aligned packed structs for HELLO / HELLO_RESPONSE / READ_DATA / READ_DATA64 / END_OF_IMAGE / DONE / EXECUTE / RESET_STATE / memory debug commands.
  • ELF loading — ElfImage parses the firehose programmer ELF for segmented upload.
  • State machine — SaharaProtocol handles the handshake, image transfer, memory dump/read, mode switch and HELLO re-negotiation after RESET_STATE.

Usage

Contains netstandard2.0 polyfills (_IsExternalInitPolyfill.cs, _StreamSpanReadPolyfill.cs) — do not delete; they are required for the netstandard2.0 build.
