The client is thread-safe and intended to be reused (channels are cached per operation). LoginAsync returns a clientId session token that you pass to the other calls.

An optional timeout can be set for slow operations (default is WCF's 1 minute):

Errors

Server-side errors surface as System.ServiceModel.FaultException with the EFS message (e.g. "No cards found for driverId."). Transport problems throw the usual CommunicationException/TimeoutException.
