Font Interoperability Engine Project License Agreement
IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY: This Font Converter Project License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Apurba Technologies Ltd ("Licensor") for the use of the Font Converter software ("Software"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
Grant of License:
a. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Licensor hereby grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal or internal business purposes.
b. The Software is licensed, not sold, to you. You acknowledge that Licensor retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.
Restrictions:
a. You shall not distribute, sublicense, sell, lease, rent, or otherwise transfer the Software or any portion thereof.
b. You shall not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Software, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
c. You shall not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Software or its accompanying documentation.
Support and Maintenance:
a. Licensor shall provide support and maintenance services for the Software ("Support") during the term of this Agreement, subject to payment of applicable fees, if any.
b. Support may include bug fixes, updates, and upgrades, as determined by Licensor in its sole discretion.
Disclaimer of Warranty:
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ITS OPERATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE REMAINS WITH YOU.
Limitation of Liability:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE.
Termination:
This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by destroying all copies of the Software. Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if you breach any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software.
Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Entire Agreement:
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Licensor with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written.
By installing or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you should not install or use the Software.
