Fora.Telemetry
Fora.Telemetry provides the runtime telemetry substrate and analysis-facing readers for Fora HLA integrations.
Capabilities
- Writes and reads fixed-width
.forttelemetry logs. - Reads
manifest.jsonfiles through typed manifest models, including top-levelmanifest_schema_version. - Provides LINQ-compatible projections for event type, class, instance, phase, GC-clean records, rates, summaries, and EventId-correlated chains.
- Exposes buffer health and replicated overhead metadata for reliability analysis.
- Exposes telemetry
1.7/1.8operational load inputs (runtime_load_inputs) when present, including synchronized class-census, time-weightedkappa, and time-weightedsigmaestimator inputs.
Typical Use
Reference this package from external analysis tools that need to consume Fora telemetry artifacts without depending on a specific validation harness.
using Fora.Telemetry;
using var reader = FortFileReader.Open("publisher.fort");
var records = reader.ReadAll().FilterSteadyState().FilterGcContaminated();
var classSummaries = records.GetClassSummaries();
var manifest = TelemetryManifestReader.Read("manifest.json");
var manifestSchemaVersion = manifest.ManifestSchemaVersion;
var telemetryVersion = manifest.Fora.TelemetryVersion;
var runtimeLoad = manifest.Telemetry.RuntimeLoadInputs;
manifest_schema_version identifies the JSON envelope schema. manifest.Fora.TelemetryVersion identifies the telemetry semantic contract active in the run.
runtime_load_inputs is required for operational-load analysis. Readers should treat its absence as "operational estimator inputs unavailable", not as successful kappa / sigma coverage.
