EntityWebApi.EFCore
Part of EntityWebApi.
EntityWebApi.EFCore adds Entity Framework Core integration to EntityWebApi by providing extension methods for querying entities by their primary key using EF Core model metadata.
Getting started
Querying by primary key
Use WhereHasKey to filter a query to the entity whose primary key matches a supplied key object.
var result = _dbContext.Set<TEntity>().WhereHasKey(key).FirstOrDefaultAsync();
Use WhereHasOneOfKeys to filter a query to entities whose primary key matches one of the supplied key objects.
var results = _dbContext.Set<TEntity>().WhereHasOneOfKeys(keys).ToListAsync();
Notes
- Primary keys are resolved from the EF Core model, so no key property names need to be specified.
- Supports both single-column and composite primary keys.
- Both methods can be composed with other LINQ query operators, including filtering, projection, sorting, and paging.
