IronAlpine.Validation.Fluent integrates FluentValidation into IronAlpine mediator pipeline.

Deterministic Behavior

  • For Result and Result<T>, validation failures are mapped to failure results.
  • For non-Result responses, ValidationException is always thrown.
  • No runtime configuration switch changes this behavior.

Guard + Validation

  • Use validators for request-level input/business preconditions.
  • Use Guard for invariant checks inside domain model constructors/mutators.
  • Keep these responsibilities separate to preserve clear failure semantics.
