JP Programi Common JSON library

The JPP.Common.JSON library is a library published as a part of the JP Programi Common Oriented Architecture. It is mainly used to parse, process and generate data written in the JSON format as described by RFC 8259 - The JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) Data Interchange Format.

This library is great for:

  • Editing existing JSON files from within a program environment.
  • Generating or parsing data such as web-service responses.
  • Validating written JSON data in compliance to the RFC 8259 document.

Usage instructions

  1. Import the package using NuGet.
  2. Follow the provided API/Instruction manual provided here.

Quick Guide

1. Parsing JSON For JSON parsing you can use the JSONParser class, parse text and documents using the ParseText and ParseDocument functions.

2. Validating JSON Validate JSON using the JSONParser.ValidateText function.

3. JSON Document-Object-Model You can use the provided JSONObject, JSONArray and JSONKeyValuePair classes to go through the structure of a given JSON file. You can change and modify the structure then write it back.

4. JSON Generation You can use the JSONWriter to automatically write JSONObject, JSONArray and other data to a file.

5. Serialization / Deserialization You can use the JSONSerializer class and it's static methods to serialize any object (not just the already existing ones given in the library) and deserialize JSON into objects as well. There are also converter functions added, so you can easily convert any object to a JSONObject and vice versa.
