Keyright.NET

The Keyright client SDK. Multi-targets netstandard2.0;net8.0 so it loads inside .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 6–10 consumers (CR-3, NFR-4). Validation works on every target; signing/keygen is net8-only.

What it does

  • Offline validation — RSA-2048 / PKCS#1 v1.5 / SHA-256 signature check + expiry, via System.Security.Cryptography only. Public key loaded from base64 SubjectPublicKeyInfo.
  • Backward compatible with Nebula.NET's shipped license files (CR-1), via a verification compatibility ladder. See ../../docs/license-format.md.
  • Node-locking (MachineFingerprint) with tolerance for a single hardware/OS change.
  • Entitlements (EntitlementSet) — fail-closed IsEnabled / GetLimit.
  • Front door — KeyrightClient with full license-source precedence (FR-72).

Key rotation (FR-22): set AdditionalPublicKeysBase64 to keep accepting a retiring key during a transition window — see ../../docs/key-rotation.md.

Offline revocation (FR-44): set RevocationListJson / RevocationListPath to a signed revocation list; a validated license/lease whose id is on the (verified) list resolves to Free.

Signing (net8 only) lives in Keyright.Signing.LicenseSigner.

Hardening: ship this SDK through Nebula.NET's obfuscation as a recommended step (SEC-1).
