Klausmd5.AutoMapperLegacy

Klausmd5.AutoMapperLegacy is a maintenance fork of the AutoMapper 14.x codebase.

The goal of this repository is narrow:

  • keep the AutoMapper 14 API surface usable for existing applications
  • carry targeted fixes that are needed after the original 14.x line stopped moving
  • publish a distinct forked NuGet package instead of shipping under the upstream package identity

This fork currently includes:

  • custom security maintenance for deep self-referential mapping graphs
  • .NET 10 targeting for the library, tests, benchmark project, and sample app
  • GitHub-based tag release packaging

The assembly name remains AutoMapper for consumer compatibility.
