Services for publishing and consuming messages to and from queue services.

Abstracts

This library provides the abstracts and interfaces to access queue services in a consistent manner.

The feature for using queue services is implemented using this library and other secondary ones for each supported queue service.

  • KpokPatagon.Queue: this library which provides the definicion and common services.

  • KpokPatagon.Queue.Nats: Provides the functionality to use NATS JetStream services as a message queue service.

  • KpokPatagon.Queue.RabbitMQ: Provides the functionality to use RabbitMQ as a message queue service.

To use the queue features, install the desired NuGet package.

Configuration

Queue services are configured within the KpokPatagon:Queue section in appsettings.json, but the actual key can be specified, if required, as an argument in the registration method.

The configuration for both supported services is the same, the service Url that must include: the protocol, the host name or IP address and if required port, user and password as required by each service, for example:

Service registration

The queue service must be registered with DI within the "configure service" method, for example:
