Field Usage Analyzer helps Dataverse / Dynamics 365 developers identify unused, risky, and underutilized fields by analyzing where each field is actually used across the system. 🧠 How It Works

Loads entity metadata safely using RetrieveEntityRequest Filters attributes based on: o read availability o supported attribute types o user-selected options Scans: o Form XML o FetchXML (views) o XAML (business rules & workflows) Uses regex-safe detection to avoid false positives Aggregates usage counts and derives usage flags 🖥 UI Overview

⚠️ Limitations

• Power Automate (Flows) are not analyzed due to platform limitations • Advanced Find usage is not tracked (only eligibility) • Calculated & virtual fields may appear as not used These limitations are documented intentionally for transparency.
