Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool
Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool converts Atlassian Document Format (ADF) documents — the JSON rich-text format used by Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket — to Markdown using Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.
Install
dotnet tool install --global Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool
Example
Convert a file to another file:
Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool --input issue.json --output issue.md
Convert a file and write the result to the standard output:
Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool --input issue.json
Read the ADF document from the standard input, such as the description of a Jira issue:
curl -s -u "$JIRA_USER:$JIRA_TOKEN" "https://example.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/issue/ABC-1" \
| jq .fields.description \
| Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool
Configure the conversion:
Meziantou.Framework.AtlassianDataFormat.Tool --input issue.json --panel-style GitHubAlert --expand-style HtmlDetails --table-style Auto
