Microsoft Purview SDK

The Microsoft Purview SDK is a .NET client library for data classification, labeling, policy evaluation, and content processing services.

Features

The SDK provides methods for integrating with Microsoft Purview's data security and governance capabilities, including content classification, sensitivity labeling, protection scope evaluation, and activity signal upload.

The package multi-targets netstandard2.0 and net8.0. When consumed from a net8.0 project, the SDK is fully compatible with PublishAot=true and PublishTrimmed=true.

AOT & Trimming Support

The SDK uses compile-time source-generated serialization — no runtime reflection is required. Applications targeting net8.0 can publish as Native AOT with zero trim/AOT warnings from the SDK.
