NJobDesk.Umbraco

Umbraco backoffice integration for NJobDesk — a scheduler-agnostic jobs dashboard for .NET.

Adds a professionally designed jobs dashboard to the Settings section of the Umbraco backoffice (Umbraco 16 and 17), guarded by backoffice authentication. Works with any NJobDesk scheduler provider: Umbraco recurring jobs, Quartz (via uQuartz), or Hangfire — including several at once.

Install the package and it wires itself up through a composer; plug in providers where you configure services:

The dashboard API serves at /njobdesk/api/v1 behind the backoffice Settings-section policy, with a njobdesk Swagger document registered alongside Umbraco's. Inside the backoffice the dashboard has its own navigation rail and routed views under the dashboard path, e.g. /umbraco/section/settings/dashboard/njobdesk/history?state=Failed; these URLs survive a reload and work as deep links.

Target section

By default the dashboard registers under Settings. To place it in another section — including a custom one — set the client-side section alias in configuration:

The API authorization follows the configured section: users need access to that section instead of Settings. Users without access don't see the dashboard and get 403 from the API.
