Reed Solomon Lite
Rewritten in Dotnet 8 with some optimization based on Arduino-FEC Github project by simonyipeter (https://github.com/simonyipeter/Arduino-FEC)
Installation
dotnet add package NGB.ReedSolomonLite
Simple Usage
Encoding
using NGB.ReedSolomonLite;
byte[] message = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes("Test 123");
// create an instance with 8 bytes message and 4 bytes ECC
// this instance is reusable
var rs = new ReedSolomon(8, 4);
// encode the message
byte[] encoded = rs.Encode(message);
Decoding
using NGB.ReedSolomonLite;
// 8 bytes encoded message with 4 bytes ECC at the end
byte[] encoded = Convert.FromHexString("546573742031323342C373D4");
var rs = new ReedSolomon(8, 4);
byte[] decoded = rs.Decode(encoded);
Limitation
Since the process is fully using stack (no heap allocation), this package is intended for short message only. Only support message up to 256 Bytes (including ECC).
