OpenCV.Native.Win64.Cuda 5.0.0-custom.5

This is a custom, unofficial package of OpenCV 5.0.0 native Windows x64 CUDA assets. It is not an official OpenCV package and is not maintained or owned by OpenCV. The package ID is OpenCV.Native.Win64.Cuda.

Contents and compatibility patch

The package provides OpenCV headers, Debug/Release import libraries and DLLs, MSBuild integration, and the patch record used while staging the native assets. The package-specific geometry compatibility patch is applied to the umbrella header native/win-x64/include/opencv2/opencv.hpp: it conditionally adds #include "opencv2/geometry.hpp" when HAVE_OPENCV_GEOMETRY is defined. The patch identity and SHA-256 hashes are recorded in build/OpenCV.Native.Win64.Cuda.build-manifest.json; the patch and its provenance record are retained under patches/.

Licensing and notices

LICENSE.txt is the package-level license summary. OpenCV 5.0.0 and OpenCV contrib are Apache-2.0; the bundled FFmpeg videoio plugin is LGPL-2.1-or-later. This aggregate package is not Apache-only. Read the complete original texts under licenses/, including:

  • licenses/LICENSE
  • licenses/etc/licenses/ffmpeg-license.txt
  • licenses/etc/licenses/ffmpeg-readme.txt
  • all other files under licenses/etc/licenses/

See NOTICE.txt and THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt for attribution and the current provenance/compliance status.

Runtime prerequisites

  • Windows x64 and an NVIDIA driver/runtime compatible with the CUDA build are required. CUDA runtime components are not included in this package; the exact required CUDA and driver versions must be confirmed for the deployment.
  • The compatible Microsoft Visual C++ runtime is not included and may be required by the native DLLs.
  • The bundled FFmpeg plugin is opencv_videoio_ffmpeg500_64.dll and is loaded at runtime. The OpenH264 dependency described by the bundled FFmpeg readme is expected to be installed separately when required; it is not supplied by this package.
  • Review native DLL dependencies and the complete third-party license files before deployment or redistribution.

Required / unknown provenance fields

The following facts are intentionally not invented and remain unresolved:

  • FFmpeg source snapshot/revision and source URI — REQUIRED / UNKNOWN
  • FFmpeg configuration flags, enabled components, and build toolchain — REQUIRED / UNKNOWN
  • Exact source provenance for the bundled native binaries — REQUIRED / UNKNOWN

These fields must be completed from authoritative build records before public redistribution. The OpenCV source/install location is recorded as a placeholder in the build manifest because this package does not assert unavailable provenance.

Source offer / compliance warning

The package does not include FFmpeg source and does not assert a fabricated source-offer URL or contact. Before redistributing the FFmpeg plugin, the redistributor must provide complete corresponding source or a valid written source offer, preserve the LGPL-2.1-or-later terms, and meet the applicable relinking and notice obligations. If those obligations cannot be met, do not redistribute the FFmpeg plugin; consult licenses/etc/licenses/ffmpeg-readme.txt.
