OpenTelemetryAttribute

Description

The OpenTelemetryAttribute package is a library designed to facilitate OpenTelemetry monitoring in your .NET projects. This library allows you to automatically monitor method calls and transfer the monitored data to MongoDB.

Installation

To add this package to your project via NuGet, use the following command:

dotnet add package OpenTelemetryAttribute --version 1.1.0

Configuration
After installing the package, initialize it in your application start-up by setting up the MongoDB connection and specifying your service name as follows:

csharp
Copy code
TelemetryInitializer.Initialize(
    mongodbConnectionString: "your_mongodb_connection_string",
    mongodbDatabase: "your_database_name",
    mongodbCollection: "your_collection_name",
    serviceName: "your_service_name"
);
Save to grepper
Usage
To monitor method calls, decorate your methods with the TelemetryAspect attribute:

csharp
Copy code
[TelemetryAspect]
public void YourMethod()
{
    // Implementation of your method
}
Save to grepper
This attribute will automatically capture telemetry data for the method calls, which includes timing, success, and failure metrics.
