pdiffy

The command-line tool for PDiffy: compare PDF and Word documents by what they say rather than how they're encoded, print a document's snapshot, run accessibility checks, and review and accept the snapshots a test run leaves behind.

Install it as a local tool, at the same version as the PDiffy package your tests use, so it reads documents exactly as your tests do:

It exits with 0 when nothing changed or was found, 1 when something was, 2 for a usage error and 3 when a document can't be read. dotnet pdiffy --help lists every command.
