PLCcom.Mqtt.Core

Shared infrastructure for the PLCcom MQTT libraries — the common foundation that both PLCcom.Mqtt.Client and PLCcom.Mqtt.Broker are built on.

You normally do not install this package directly. Install PLCcom.Mqtt.Client and/or PLCcom.Mqtt.Broker instead — they bring in this package automatically. It is published on its own only because the client and the broker share these public types, so a single diagnostic listener or limit configuration works with both.

Runs on .NET Framework 4.7.2+, .NET Standard 2.1, .NET 8, .NET 9 and .NET 10.

What lives here

  • Diagnostics contract — IPlccomMqttDiagnosticListener, PlccomMqttDiagnosticEvent, PlccomMqttDiagnosticLevel and related types. Implement one listener and use it with both the client and the broker.
  • Shared configuration — for example PlccomMqttLimits.
  • MQTT wire, validation, PKI and result infrastructure used internally by the client and the broker.
