PPulse.Observability.Core

Host-agnostic observability core for Policy Pulse applications. Provides the ObservabilityProviderBuilder used by all host-specific packages to configure tracing, metrics, and logging export to the PPulse collector.

What this package does

  • Exports traces, metrics, and logs to the PPulse collector
  • Sets W3C traceparent/tracestate as the default propagation format
  • Instruments outbound HTTP calls and SQL client operations
  • Enriches child activities with PPulse metadata (tenant, correlation, session) via ChildActivityEnrichmentProcessor
  • Captures first-chance exceptions and attaches them to the active trace

This package is a dependency of the host-specific packages. You do not reference it directly unless building a custom host integration.
