Palm.SurrealDB.Net.Analyzers
Roslyn analyzers and code fixes for the Palm.SurrealDB client and LINQ provider — nine rules in the
PSDB001–PSDB009 band:
| Rule | What it catches |
|---|---|
PSDB001/PSDB002 |
a LINQ operator or expression the translator cannot express — an error at |
build time rather than a SurqlTranslationException at run time |
|
PSDB003 |
blocking enumeration of a query that has an async terminal (with a code fix) |
PSDB004 |
a query issued inside a loop — the N+1 shape |
PSDB005 |
navigation access with no FETCH (with a code fix) |
PSDB006 |
a malformed record-id literal |
PSDB007/PSDB008 |
schema and index problems, opt-in via a surrealdb.schema.surql |
AdditionalFiles entry |
|
PSDB009 |
a schema file that is present but unparsable — which must not silently disable the |
| two rules that read it |
Part of the Palm.SurrealDB ecosystem for SurrealDB 3.x.
Installation
dotnet add package Palm.SurrealDB.Net.Analyzers
Targets net10.0 (netstandard2.0 — the Roslyn host requirement). The package is proprietary and sets
PackageRequireLicenseAcceptance, so NuGet prompts before installing — see LICENSE.
Nothing is on NuGet.org until the first release runs; see
docs/RELEASING.md.
Provides
- Analyzers and code fixes — there is no API to call
Notes
Every query rule is gated on proving the chain actually reaches Query<T>(ISurrealClient). Where
origin cannot be established the rule stays silent: a false negative costs a missed warning, and a
false positive is how analyzers get switched off.
Targets netstandard2.0 and packs as a DevelopmentDependency with nothing under lib/, so
it never becomes a transitive runtime dependency of your consumers.
