PassCryptor

A basic .NET utility to hide user entered passwords during authentication.

Installation: NuGet

Install-Package PassCryptor

Usage:

Get started

Add the following at the beginning of your file:

Usage example (C#):

            Cryptor cryptor = new Cryptor(); // Creates an instance of the Cryptor Class
            
            cryptor.HashKey = '*'; // **Optional** Sets a custom hash key (default: '*')
            cryptor.InputMessage = "Enter your password: "; // **Optional** Sets a custom input message (default: "Password: ")
            
            string password = cryptor.GetPassword(); // Goes through the process of encrypting user input and returns the clean password
