PulseTrade.Comm.Security

PulseTrade.Comm.Security provides small encrypted-secret helpers for PTC host configuration.

Production PTC services must not receive connection strings or passwords through environment variables. Store sensitive text in an encrypted file and pass explicit key/file paths to the host.

Default RSA key paths used by current PTCS deployment work:

  • public key: D:\ingted.com\myKey.pub.txt
  • private key: D:\ingted.com\myKey.private.txt

API

  • encryptStr keySize publicKeyPath plaintext paddingOpt matches the existing FAkka.Shared Crypt.encryptStr behavior for short text.
  • decryptStr keySize privateKeyPath encrypted paddingOpt matches FAkka.Shared Crypt.decryptStr for base64 RSA text.
  • encryptChunkedStr / decryptChunkedStr support longer plaintext such as full SQL connection strings.
  • readEncryptedTextFile reads either a legacy single base64 value or the chunked JSON format.
  • writeEncryptedTextFile writes chunked JSON using UTF-8 without BOM.

Do not log decrypted values.
