A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for accessing the RPX Catalog API. This server provides AI-powered tools for querying APIs, routes, and documentation from the RealPage RPX Catalog.

Installation

Using .NET CLI

Using Package Manager Console

Quick Start

1. Configure MCP Settings

Create or update your .mcp.json configuration file:

2. Run the MCP Server

cd RPX.AspNetCoreMcp.McpServer
dotnet run

The server will start on http://localhost:5053

3. Available Tools

The MCP server provides the following tools:

Get APIs

Retrieve APIs from the catalog with optional filtering.

Natural Language: "Get all active APIs from the catalog"

Get API by ID

Retrieve a specific API by its ID.

Natural Language: "Get API with ID 00000006-0000-0000-0000-000000000000"

Get Routes by API ID

Get all routes associated with a specific API.

Natural Language: "Show me routes for API ID 00000006-0000-0000-0000-000000000000"

Get API Documentation

Retrieve detailed documentation for an API.

Natural Language: "Get documentation for API ID 00000027-0000-0000-0000-000000000000"
