Reflections Starter Kit for Umbraco 18

Reflections Starter Kit provides a ready-to-use foundation for building websites with Umbraco 18. It installs a starter content structure, document and media types, templates, SEO fields, XML sitemap support, and sample content.

Requirements

  • Umbraco CMS 18.0.2 or later in the Umbraco 18 release line.

This package is restricted to Umbraco 18 and must not be installed on another Umbraco major version.

Installation

dotnet add package Reflections.Umbraco18.StarterKit
dotnet build
dotnet run

On first startup, Umbraco runs the package migration and imports the starter-kit schema and content. The backoffice may briefly show its maintenance page while this migration runs.

Before installing

The package imports document types, media types, data types, templates, content, and media. Back up the website and database before installing it into an existing site. For the most predictable result, use a new or clean Umbraco 18 website and test installation outside production first.

Troubleshooting

If the website remains on the automatic-upgrade maintenance page, inspect the latest file under umbraco/Logs for a package migration exception. Confirm that the site runs a supported Umbraco 18 version.
