A complete, all-in-one storage layer for .NET web applications.

Relatude.DB isn't a traditional database. It is an open-source, database and application layer where your C# classes serve as the schema.

In a typical web project, you usually have to wire together a relational database, an ORM, a dedicated search engine, file storage, and now vector databases for AI features. Relatude.DB replaces that entire stack. It gives you a single tool that handles data, files, search, and relationships out of the box.

Why use it?

It eliminates boilerplate. There is no SQL to write, no separate ORM to configure, and no database migrations to run. You just write your C# classes, and the storage layer adapts. It is distributed as an all-in-one NuGet package that you can drop into your project and start building immediately.

Getting Started

The quickest way is the command line tool, which writes a complete application in one command. Two project types today: csharp_web_react_ts (the default), an ASP.NET Core API with Relatude.DB in Backend/ plus a React + TypeScript + Vite client in Client/, for interactive web applications; and csharp_web_mvc, one server-rendered ASP.NET Core MVC project, for content websites with traditional navigation and SEO. Both come with a README that says how to run them and where models, pages and endpoints go.
