Rwx.EventBus.RabbitMq.Worker

Background RabbitMQ topology initialization and integration-event consumption for Rwx services.

Install

dotnet add package Rwx.EventBus.RabbitMq.Worker --version 0.1.0

Quick start

Install Rwx.EventBus.RabbitMq as well, then register transport services before the worker services:

using Rwx.EventBus.RabbitMq;
using Rwx.EventBus.RabbitMq.Worker;

builder.Services.AddRwxMessaging(builder.Configuration, typeof(OrderPlaced).Assembly);
builder.Services.AddRwxMessagingBackgroundWorkers();

Use this package only in a worker/background host. It starts hosted services that declare RabbitMQ topology and consume messages. Register integration handlers explicitly with Rwx.EventBus.DependencyInjection.AddIntegrationEventHandlers(...), or use a RwxMessagingModule subclass that supplies EventHandlerAssemblies.

For modular applications, depend on RwxMessagingWorkerModule alongside a concrete subclass of RwxMessagingModule that supplies the event-contract assemblies.

Boundaries

Register this package only in a process that owns message consumption. It depends on AddRwxMessaging() having already supplied transport services. A consumer host also needs the application handlers and all persistence adapters those handlers use; add the durable inbox when duplicate deliveries must not re-run a handler.
