Semi Theme for Avalonia MediaPlayer

This package provides a Semi Design inspired theme for Avalonia MediaPlayer.

Installation

Install the package with the .NET CLI:

dotnet add package Semi.Avalonia
dotnet add package Semi.Avalonia.MediaPlayer

The package targets .NET 10 and supports Avalonia desktop applications on Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Usage

Add MediaSemiTheme to your application's styles:

Use it together with the Avalonia.Controls.MediaPlayer package and the rest of your application's themes.

Safe area padding

The video player exposes the attached MediaPlayerControlAssist.SafeAreaPadding property (Thickness). While the overlay is not idle, its bottom value is the measured height of the control panel, including the seek bar; all other sides are zero. When the overlay is idle, the padding is zero.

Bind to this property when positioning content above the playback controls:

Here, player is the name of your MediaPlayerControl.

AudioPlayer resource key

The audio player control theme is registered under the AudioPlayer resource key. Apply it to a MediaPlayerControl with a dynamic resource reference:

Add MediaSemiTheme to the application styles as shown above so the AudioPlayer resource is available.
