SqlCE.Native

SQL Server Compact 4.0 managed driver and native engine binaries, repackaged for modern SDK-style .NET projects.

The official Microsoft.SqlServer.Compact NuGet package predates SDK-style projects and triggers an NU5128 warning (missing lib/ref assets) when referenced from a netstandard2.0/net* project. This package vendors the same official binaries with packaging fixed, and no further dependencies.

This is an unofficial repackaging and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

The code in this repository (the .csproj/.targets build logic) is licensed under the MIT License.

The bundled binaries (System.Data.SqlServerCe.dll and the native SQL Server Compact / Visual C++ runtime DLLs) are Microsoft's own redistributables, licensed under their original terms — see SQLCE_EULA_ENU.rtf, included in this repo and in the published package.
